I'm a doctoral student in the Mathematics Department at the University of Colorado at Boulder. During the fall semester of 2009, I am the instructor for MATH1300 (calculus 1) Section 300. The course website is located here.

Contact: Jason.B.Hill@Colorado.edu

Office: MATH340
Office Hours: Mondays & Wednesdays 5:00-6:00 PM (before class). I am otherwise often in my office (except on Tuesdays) and students are welcome to stop by with questions.

Research: My interests are in areas related to algebra, logic, computer science and combinatorics. Computational group theory and representation theory are my primary interests.

Basic Info:

I received my B.S. in mathematics from The University of Michigan-Flint in 2004, spending one year toward that degree in Uppsala, Sweden. In 2006, I received my M.S. in mathematics from The University of Vermont working under David S. Dummit in a topic related to Stark's Conjectures in computational algebraic number theory.
